Dr. Lawrence A. Berg graduated from the University of Toronto Law School in 1966 and was Called to the Ontario Bar in 1968 and has been practicing in personal injury litigation ever since.

Peter W. Dye has focused his career on dealing with the insurance industry with an emphasis on personal injury issues. After working on behalf of a number of insurance companies for several years, he made a decision to work solely on behalf of injured persons. Mr. Dye offers a very unique perspective to assist injured persons with their claims. He understands what information insurance companies require before they will properly compensate injured persons.

Peter Dye received his Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction from York
University in 1993 and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of
Western Ontario in 1996.

Mr. Dye has appeared in all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Court of
Appeal and has successfully defended a Leave Application to the Supreme
Court of Canada. Mr. Dye is a former instructor of the Law Clerk's Course at
Sheridan College.

John Russell For the first 16 years of his practice Mr. Russell represented large insurance companies. Working for insurance companies he was able to develop his skills as a trial lawyer and build a track record of success at trial that few personal injury lawyers in Ontario can match. As you might expect, Insurance companies will pay more on a claim, and will settle quicker, when they are dealing with legal counsel they know can, and will, take a case to trial.

Mr. Russell knows what you are up against when seeking compensation for your injuries and he will work with you to ensure that you get the full amount you are entitled to as quickly as possible.

Mr. Russell graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with his LL. B. degree in 1990 and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992. He has been practicing personal injury law exclusively since that time. Over the course of his career Mr. Russell has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario throughout the province.

David Rowan. Berg Dye and Russell is pleased to announce that they have retained the services of David Rowan from DBR Insurance and Litigation Consulting.  Mr. Rowan graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1998 with an Honours degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration.  He was employed with State Farm Insurance from 1998 to 2010 where as a Bodily Injury Claim Representative he gained extensive experience as an insurance adjuster and received an insider’s view of the inner workings of a major insurance company.  He has significant experience working with tort claims, handling hundreds of mediations and court appearances on behalf of his former employer.

David’s focus with our firm is representing the best interests and well being of our clients and their families. David brings his analytical, pragmatic approach combined with his reputation for professionalism and integrity to each client’s file with his goal effecting optimum results.

In his free time David enjoys playing sports, traveling and enjoying time with family and friends.
